Guardians

All creatures great and small. Register the animals in your care, raise a notice the moment one goes missing, and watch for animals that turn up far from where they belong. Guardians around the world see the same notices, so an animal moved out of its area is noticed by the people who are there.

Homes are never shown. A notice carries a description, the last-seen place in words, and an area of about five kilometres. A GPS collar, the OwnTracks phone app, or an AirTag bridge you run yourself can report to a private feed that only you see. The site never signs into Apple. Tile and SmartTag positions stay in their own apps and are copied in by hand. Sightings go to the guardian, who decides what to do next. Research tracking tags on the globe are a separate layer and are never mixed with this register.
